"UKRAINE IS NOT SILENT": THE BOOK WAS PRESENTED IN ODESSA

"Ukraine is not silent": a book was presented in Odessa as part of the completion of the all-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days Against Violence", and a round table was held to summarize the results.
The book "Ukraine is not silent. Chronicle of combating war-related sexual violence" was published as part of the all-Ukrainian campaign "16 Days Against Violence".

The book was edited by Kateryna Levchenko, Serhiy Gubin and Olena Gubina. The publication consists of 25 interviews: Ukrainian and foreign experts talk about how people who have suffered from sexual violence can receive assistance. The book contains a unique experience of combating sexual violence that Ukraine gained during the Russian-Ukrainian war and which our state can share with other countries, which is why the book is also published in English.

Helping people who have suffered from sexual violence and returning them to normal life: the book has practical significance. Moreover, Ukraine will have to solve the problems related to sexual violence during the war for a long time, experts noted during the roundtable.

The book "Ukraine is not silent" will be received by the national trainer of the SNPK, head of the NGO "Culture of Democracy" Olena Rotari.

The publication "Ukraine is not silent. (2022-2024) was prepared during the implementation of the project "Let's stand together", which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund with the support of the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Kateryna Levchenko.
