MEETING WITH THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE UN DEVELOPMENT COORDINATION OFFICE IN ISTANBUL
The Ambassador of the NGO “Culture of Democracy” Liliya Leonidova took part in a meeting with the Regional Director of the UN Office for Development Coordination in Istanbul, Ms. Gwi-Yeop Son. The event brought together representatives of civil society to discuss the key challenges that Ukraine faced during the war and ways to overcome them.

During her speech, Liliya Leonidova emphasized that for sustainable peacebuilding in Ukraine, it is necessary for the Russian occupation armed forces to completely leave the territory of our country.
“Peacebuilding in Ukraine must be based on justice, the restoration of destroyed infrastructure and support for the people who have suffered the most from the war. However, we need increased cooperation with international partners,” said Ms. Leonidova.
